Online version from the Dress Rehearsal Available during Isolation
Working witrh residents of the Rhondda and Pontypridd, in partnership with Pontypridd Museum, Glamorgan Archives and RCT Theatres and supported by Heritage Lottery Wales and Pontypridd Town Hall Avant recorded family stories of the soldiers, miners, mothers and commuity here during WWI.
The stories were written into a play in partnership with Angela Gould.
The play was produced and performed at Pontypridd Museum.
During isolation we wanted to bring you these stories. Stories from a time when famalies we seperated, when times were hard, and to reflect on how important our community is.
The play was recorded as part of the Dress Rehearsal and there was need for an audience as part of the play. Be part of our community and get in touch to find out how you can be involved in future productions.
